Training Opportunities

Northern Michigan K-9 Inc. offers two, three and four week training courses for handlers and their K-9. The length of training will be dependant on the choice of K-9 your department makes. The training concludes after intensive training in areas of veterinarian first aid, leash control, odor movement, obedience, tracking, searches, patrol work, and report writing. All graduates of Northern Michigan K-9 Inc. must successfully complete a final evaluation and written examination.
